Words Have Power

We all know that words have power, and they can either make you feel elated or defeated. How did you feel after the sting of hurtful words that only true intent was to scar you, mangle your opinion of yourself, and second guess everything you stand for? Yes, that’s a lot to digest, but the reality here is that in order to come from a place of love, we must also choose our words from a place of unyielding admiration and wellbeing.

Do you remember the last time your feelings were hurt? Now imagine that same feeling because you’ve made another person feel the exact same way at some point in your life.

“BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD. SPEAK WITH INTEGRITY. SAY ONLY WHAT YOU MEAN. AVOID USING THE WORD TO SPEAK AGAINST YOURSELF OR TO GOSSIP ABOUT OTHERS. USE THE POWER OF YOUR WORD IN THE DIRECTION OF TRUTH AND LOVE.”

~ DON MIGUEL RUIZ

Lately, life has us all on edge. From the pandemic to continued social injustice, all of us are at a heightened state of no patience. If it doesn’t walk like us, look like us, or act like us, we have chosen that it’s bad; therefore, we criticize and make it a point to be spiteful. Forgiveness is a pastime emotion that can only be bestowed on people that you care about. Is this you?

Over the past several months, I’ve made a very conscious effort to speak from a place of love. That doesn’t mean that the receiver of my words hears only what benefits them. Instead, whatever conveying will come from a spot in my heart that truly wants the best for you.

The energy that you give out will, in turn, be given in return. The collective flow of energy directly correlates to the blessings offered. You might think that you’ve gained success in your career by working hard and grinding your way to the top. That may have some meaning to it, but trust, the energy that it took for you to get there, will have to be maintained. If the words that come out of your mouth are meant to injure, please understand that the mercy and grace you’ve received could be much greater if you only came from a place of love.

I’ve heard people say, “I have everything I want” or “I’m okay with being by myself.” If this is your mindset, then you’ll be just that ALONE by the command of your words. Our minds can only process what we’ve been exposed to, not the infinite energy that is out there for the taking if only you’d come from a place of peace and understanding.

Let your words of empowerment and positivity be used to inspire and uplift. In truth, what you speak can change lives for the better. Authentic greatness can only be achieved when your consciousness comes from a place of support and healing.

In the Law of Attraction, words and thoughts have the power to manifest greatness in our lives. If your words are angry, filled with nastiness hurled at another for the pure purpose to hurt, please believe those exact words will manifest in your life.

Choose your words wisely.
